CPM 3V is an ultra-high toughness tool steel, but it is non-stainless. After field use, thoroughly clean and dry the blade. Apply a thin coat of mineral oil, Sentry Solutions TUFF-GLIDE, or high-grade gun oil before storing the knife. Clean the canvas Micarta handles and Kydex sheath with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft brush as needed.
