- Ensure the host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
- Clean and degrease the mounting surface of the primary optic mount and the underbelly of the RMR red dot.
- Place the Reptilia 100-086 riser onto the base mount interface, ensuring alignment pins index cleanly into the riser locating holes.
- Set the Trijicon RMR optic onto top of the riser. Pass the included extended mounting screws through the optic and riser into the base mount, torquing evenly to manufacturer specs (typically 12–15 in-lbs). Apply blue threadlocker (Loctite 242/243) to screw threads.
