The RS Regulate AK-303M Full Length Lower Modular Side Mount (AK-303M) is widely considered the gold standard for mounting optics on AK-47 and AKM-pattern rifles equipped with standard side scope rails. Built upon RS Regulate’s innovative two-piece modular mounting system, the AK-303M allows shooters to pair this full-length lower optic mount with a variety of RS Regulate upper optic mounts (e.g., AKR Picatinny rail, AKMD Micro dot, AKOG, etc.) to achieve an ultra-low, centered-over-bore sight picture with correct eye relief.

Precision CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in a durable, hardcoat anodized matte black coating, the AK-303M combines extreme rigidity with a lightweight, skeletonized footprint. The full-length design spans the top receiver rail section, giving operators flexible front-to-back placement for LPVO scopes, red dot sights, or holographic optics.

*Armorer Bench Notes & Real-World Staging Guidance:
Fitment Matrix: Fits standard AKM, AK-74, and Russian/Bulgarian pattern side scope rails (e.g., WASR-10, SAM7, SLR-107, PSAK-47, WBP Jack, etc.). Requires an RS Regulate upper optic mount (sold separately) to complete optic installation. (Will NOT fit Yugo/Zastava N-PAP/O-PAP/M70 pattern side rails—use AK-307MS for Yugo platforms).

1. Verify host AK rifle is completely clear, magazine removed, safety engaged, and chamber visually and physically confirmed empty.
2. Slide the AK-303M mount from rear to front onto the host receiver's side optic rail.
3. Adjust the titanium tension nut on the locking lever until the lever closes with firm, positive lockup pressure.
4. Attach chosen RS Regulate upper optic mount (AKR, AKMD, AKOG, etc.) to the top rail profile of the AK-303M using included hardware.
5. Adjust upper mount position laterally to center the optic precisely over the rifle dust cover before final torquing.
