1. Ensure the host AK pistol is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
2. Unscrew and remove the existing AK pistol grip and grip bolt assembly from the receiver base.
3. Slide the AKTF mounting fork between the receiver base and the pistol grip, aligning the grip screw pass-through hole with the internal receiver T-nut.
4. Reinstall the pistol grip screw through the grip and AKTF bracket into the T-nut, torquing securely to 35-40 in-lbs before verifying positive hinge latching and deployment.
