The SIG Sauer P320 X-Series Sub-Compact / X-Compact 3.6" Optics-Ready Slide Assembly in Black Nitron (SLIDE-320X-SC-9-BLK / MPN 8900957) is a genuine factory OEM upper upgrade designed to convert or replace the slide on sub-compact 9mm P320 handguns. Fitment Matrix: Designed specifically for 9mm Luger sub-compact and X-Compact P320 grip modules utilizing a 3.6-inch non-threaded barrel (or 4.3-inch threaded barrel) and matching recoil spring assembly. (Note: Fits 9mm P320 platforms only; not compatible with .40 S&W, .357 SIG, or .45 ACP models. Barrel and recoil spring assembly are sold separately).
- Perform a complete firearm safety check: drop the magazine, lock the slide rearward, and visually inspect the chamber to verify zero live rounds are present.
- Rotate the takedown lever downward and strip the original slide assembly from the frame.
- Remove the recoil spring assembly and 3.6" 9mm barrel from the original slide, then transfer them into the new SLIDE-320X-SC-9-BLK housing.
- Apply a thin layer of high-grade firearm lubricant to the internal frame rail guide channels.
- Slide the newly assembled upper onto the lower frame rails, lock rearward, and rotate the takedown lever back into the horizontal locked position.
- Perform dry-fire function checks to verify slide lockup, trigger reset, and striker activation before live-fire staging.
