Sig Sauer P365 Micro Compact 12RD 380ACP Magazine with Finger Extension Black 8900716 UPC 798681655793
Product Description
The Sig Sauer P365 Micro Compact 12-Round .380 ACP Magazine (8900716) is a genuine OEM factory replacement magazine engineered specifically for the Sig Sauer P365-380 micro-compact pistol series. Designed to balance maximum firepower with enhanced grip purchase, this 12-round extended magazine provides 2 additional rounds of capacity over standard flush-fit 10-round factory mags while maintaining a sleek, highly concealable profile.
Precision-manufactured from high-strength tempered steel, the magazine tube features a slick, corrosion-resistant black finish designed to resist perspiration, moisture, and extreme environmental wear. The integrated extended floorplate features ergonomic finger extension stippling that matches the P365 grip module texture, providing a full three-finger firing grip for superior recoil mitigation, faster sight alignment, and improved overall control during rapid defensive strings.
Equipped with a high-tensile steel wire spring and a smooth-cycling polymer follower, the Sig Sauer 8900716 magazine guarantees reliable feeding of all commercial .308/.380 ACP defensive ammunition, including jacketed hollow points (JHP) and target practice FMJ loads. Featuring factory rear witness holes for quick visual round verification, this genuine Sig Sauer OEM magazine is an essential accessory for everyday concealed carry and range staging.
Armorer Bench Notes & Real-World Staging Guidance:
Fitment Matrix: Fits Sig Sauer P365 chambered in .380 ACP (P365-380). Includes an installed extended finger pad baseplate for standard P365 micro-compact grip frames. (Note: Caliber-specific for .380 ACP P365 models; not compatible with standard 9mm P365 pistols or P365-XMACRO grip modules without changing base sleeves).
- Perform a complete firearm safety check: drop any inserted magazine, lock the slide rearward, and visually inspect the chamber to verify zero live rounds are present.
- Load .380 ACP cartridges manually or using a magazine loader, pressing each round rearward firmly against the back spine of the steel magazine housing.
- Insert the loaded Sig Sauer magazine straight into the magwell until the magazine catch engages with an audible, positive click.
- To perform routine maintenance: depress the floorplate locking insert pin on the base of the magazine, carefully slide the polymer extension forward while retaining spring tension, and remove the spring and follower.
- Wipe the internal steel body clean with a dry patch (keep internal surfaces clean and free of heavy wet lubricants to prevent lint and carbon accumulation).
