    Quality

Second Sig Sauer sight, can say I’m nothing but pleased. Great optic overall best dollar I’ve spent. Very clear glass and red dot is very visible through this sight. The caps are on there to seal, prevent scratches on glass and maintain visibility. Definitely feels of durable/quality material. Skeletonized rises could possibly be used with some iron sights. Highly recommend this product.

    Great red dot sight

Been shooting this sight a few times a week since I received it almost a month ago now, have over 1000 rounds with it. I've dropped it and soaked it, banged it around, generally mistreated it. It has never failed once and has never lost zero. I did a lot of research on this sight before I purchased and was back and forth between this one and a Romeo 5 - yes, most would say to me "Idiot, get the romeo 5" and I told myself that too. But this build, although not specifically a budget build came at a time of getting a little upset at the various "back ordered" and "notify me" stuff going on with on line retailers with weapon parts shortages during this pandemic so that had its influence. I got tired of waiting to be "notified" when a romeo 5 was back in stock at another retailer site. This led me to evaluate a little closer, and I found Heart of Texas Armory, and by this time I had decided the biggest difference for my purpose between the Romeo MSR and the Romeo 5 was just the MOTAC of the Romeo 5 and that alone did not justify paying more for just battery conversation because with the Romeo MSR you can just leave it turned on at the "1" setting for two years and it not go dead and at the 5 setting you can leave it turned on for a year and the battery not go dead. I change the batteries in my powered optics every three months anyway. So MOTAC was sort of useless to me when I can just leave the MSR turned on at the setting I prefer (which is 4) and just include battery change in my regular rotation. Heart of Texas Armory had it in stock, no price gouging here, and the sight is definitely worth the $99 price tag - HOTA shipped it the same day I ordered and was responsive to my inquiries within a couple of minutes. You will not go wrong purchasing this sight or purchasing from HOTA.
