1. Verify the firearm is completely unloaded, remove the magazine, and clear the chamber before starting installation.
2. Ensure the SIG-LOC slide pocket and bottom optic mounting interface are thoroughly cleaned and dry.
3. Insert the bottom mounting hardware into the slide, seat the optic into the five-point SIG-LOC recoil interface, and torque fasteners to manufacturer torque specifications using a calibrated Torx driver.
