Sig Sauer TANGO MSR 1 8X24mm Rifle Scope MSR BDC8 Illuminated Coyote Brown SOTM81200 UPC 798681675623
Product Description
The Sig Sauer TANGO-MSR LPVO 1-8x24mm Rifle Scope in Coyote Brown (SKU: SOTM81200 / UPC: 798681675623) is a complete tactical optical system engineered for rapid close-quarters engagement and precision mid-range shooting on MSR/AR-15 platforms. Featuring a versatile 8x zoom ratio, this Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO) transitions smoothly from a true 1x magnification view for snap target acquisition to 8x magnification for extended-range identification.
Built with high-performance low-dispersion glass and multi-coated lenses, the TANGO-MSR delivers exceptional edge-to-edge light transmission, resolution, and color fidelity. The illuminated Second Focal Plane (SFP) MSR-BDC8 reticle features 11 brightness settings (including night vision compatible modes), maintaining a consistent, easy-to-acquire reticle size across the entire magnification band while providing calibrated bullet drop compensation holds out to 800 yards.
Housed in a 30mm maintube precision-machined from aircraft-grade aluminum with an anodized Coyote Brown finish, the scope is IPX-7 waterproof, shockproof, and fogproof. It comes complete out of the box with an factory-matched ALPHA-MSR 1.535" aluminum cantilevered mount, removable thread-in throw lever, and flip-up lens covers for immediate field deployment.
*Armorer Bench Notes & Real-World Staging Guidance:*
Fitment Matrix: Mounts to any standard MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny receiver rail using the included ALPHA-MSR 30mm cantilever mount. Designed specifically for AR-15, AR-10, and bolt-action MSR platforms.
- Ensure the host rifle is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
- Install the ALPHA-MSR cantilever mount onto the upper receiver Picatinny rail, sliding forward into the rail slot before tightening cross-bolts to 45-65 in-lbs.
- Place the TANGO-MSR scope into the lower ring halves, level the reticle using a leveling tool, and torque top ring screws evenly in a cross-pattern to 15-18 in-lbs.
- Install the included CR2032 battery into the illumination dial cap, adjust the ocular fast-focus eyepiece for reticle sharpness, and perform a 100-yard zero before field staging.
