The SilencerCo Fixed Barrel Spacer (MPN: AC22) is a mandatory armorer accessory engineered to convert piston-driven handgun suppressors for safe, reliable operation on fixed (non-reciprocating) barrels. When mounting a Nielsen device / booster-equipped suppressor onto fixed-barrel platforms—such as pistol-caliber carbines (PCCs), lever-action rifles, fixed-barrel handguns (e.g., Walther PPK, Ruger Mark series), or submachine guns—the factory recoil spring must be temporarily replaced w/ the AC22 spacer.
Precision-machined in the USA from heavy-duty 17-4 stainless steel and finished in a corrosion-resistant matte black treatment, the AC22 replaces the booster spring inside the piston housing. - Perform a complete firearm safety check: drop the magazine, retract the action, and visually/physically inspect the chamber to verify zero live rounds are present.
- Unscrew and remove the rear piston retainer cap from your SilencerCo suppressor body.
