Springfield Armory Echelon 20-Round 9mm Magazine - Flat Dark Earth EC6020F UPC 706397979034
Product Description
The Springfield Armory® Echelon™ 20-Round 9mm Extended Magazine in Flat Dark Earth (SKU: EC6020F / UPC: 706397979034) is an authentic factory original OEM replacement and upgrade magazine engineered specifically for the revolutionary Springfield Echelon striker-fired 9x19mm duty pistol. Built to withstand hard operational environments and aggressive tactical cycling, this high-capacity magazine adds +3 rounds over standard flush-fit capacity, delivering 20+1 rounds of defensive and competition firepower.
Constructed from heavy-duty, heat-treated carbon steel, the magazine tube is finished in Springfield’s proprietary black anti-wear and anti-friction coating. This slick surface finish prevents carbon, dirt, and grit from causing internal friction, ensuring ultra-smooth cartridge elevation and rapid drop-free reloads. The base is fitted with a factory-molded Flat Dark Earth (FDE) impact-resistant extended polymer basepad that matches the contours and aggressive Adaptive Grip Texture of the Echelon lower frame, providing positive indexing and extra gripping leverage during tactical mag changes.
Internally, a heavy-duty wound steel spring drives a low-friction anti-tilt polymer follower, guaranteeing uniform cartridge presentation and positive slide-stop engagement on the last round. Stamped numbered witness holes along the rear spine allow shooters to visually confirm capacity from 4 through 20 rounds at a glance.
*Armorer Bench Notes & Real-World Staging Guidance:*
Fitment Matrix: Direct factory OEM fitment for all full-size Springfield Armory Echelon 9mm handguns across Small, Medium, and Large grip modules. Will NOT fit Springfield XD, XD-M, XD-M Elite, or Hellcat / Hellcat Pro series pistols.
- Ensure the host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
- Load 9x19mm ammunition into the steel feed lips, pushing down and rearward to seat each cartridge rim firmly against the rear spine.
- Insert the magazine firmly into the beveled grip frame until the ambidextrous steel magazine release locks into the side notch with an audible, tactile click.
- Cycle the slide to confirm clean cartridge presentation and proper follower lockup before tactical staging.
