NOT compatible with add-on frame backstraps installed. NOT compatible with 10-round Glock magazines using Strike Industries aluminum base plates. WARNING: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the M4 set screw during installation; overtightening will flex the polymer, misalign the funnel with the frame well, and potentially strip the retention threads. Torque just until snug.
- Ensure the host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
- Clean any lint, carbon, or debris from the grip well and the lanyard cavity in the rear of the Glock frame.
- Slide the SI Gen 3 Magwell upward onto the frame base, seating the rear anchor tab fully into the lower frame cavity until the funnel lips wrap flush around the frame contour.
- Insert the provided M4x13mm steel set screw through the rear access port of the magwell using the included 2.5mm hex key.
- Tighten the set screw clockwise until snug against the interior frame wall without over-torquing, then insert an empty magazine to verify positive lockup and free drop-away clearance.
