1. Verify host rifle is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically confirmed empty.
2. Install the flip-to-side mount base onto the upper receiver Picatinny rail directly behind your primary red dot sight.
3. Torque rail clamp base screws evenly to 25-30 in-lbs using a torque wrench.
4. Depress or push the spring-loaded flip mechanism to verify smooth lockup in both inline and off-axis flipped positions.
