- Clean and degrease lower receiver buffer tube threads and endplate alignment slot.
- Slide your chosen endplate and castle nut onto the purple anodized buffer tube before threading it into the lower receiver.
- Depress the buffer retainer pin and spring into the lower receiver channel while threading the tube forward until the front lip captures the retaining pin.
- Torque the castle nut to armorer specification (38–40 ft-lbs) using a non-marring castle nut wrench, then insert your carbine spring and buffer.
