- Ensure the host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
- Place the cantilever mount onto the receiver top rail with the forward cantilever extending toward the muzzle. Push forward into Picatinny rail recoil slots before clamping.
- Engage the Q-LOC™ attachment knobs. The heavy-duty springs maintain automatic retention; torque rail knobs to 30–38 in-lbs (or spring-tension hand tight at 12–16 in-lbs).
- Place the 35mm riflescope into the lower ring halves, level the reticle using a leveling block, and torque upper ring screws evenly in a cross-pattern to 14–16 in-lbs applying blue threadlocker.
