- Perform a complete firearm safety check: drop the magazine, lock the slide rearward, and visually/physically inspect the chamber to verify zero live rounds are present.
- Install a fresh Glock channel liner into the upper firing pin channel using a dedicated channel liner installation tool.
- Assemble the extractor, spring-loaded bearing, depressor plunger, safety plunger assembly, and striker mechanism into the Axiom slide housing.
