Installation Sequence:
- Safety check the firearm and donor magazine: remove magazine, clear chamber, and confirm zero live rounds present.
- Depress the factory locking insert tab at the bottom of the OEM HK magazine floorplate and carefully slide off the factory base pad while containing the factory spring.
- Remove original factory spring and locking plate (retain factory follower).
- Attach factory follower to the top of the included Tyrant CNC extended high-tensile spring and slide into the magazine body.
- Depress the Tyrant CNC retention plunger on the extension, slide the base pad onto the magazine body rails until fully seated, and release the plunger to lock the assembly securely into place.
