- Verify host firearm is completely clear, safe, and unloaded; lock the bolt back into the charging handle lock notch.
- Drive out the retaining roll pin on the cocking handle support using a dedicated roll-pin punch.
- Remove factory handle, insert the CHMP5E Extended Handle, alignment-check, and drive retaining pin back into place until flush.
