The Viridian MDS35 Modern Dot Sight (981-0128) is a compact, high-performance optical sight engineered to provide ultra-fast target acquisition across modern sporting rifles, carbines, shotguns, and PCC platforms. Precision CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a durable hardcoat black anodized finish, the MDS35 utilizes the industry-standard Aimpoint Micro (T-1/T-2) mounting footprint. This allows operators to easily pair the sight with a wide variety of aftermarket riser mounts and QD bases. Equipped with INSTANT-ON technology and digital brightness controls, the optic conserves battery life during periods of rest and powers up instantly upon movement detection.
Powered by a single side-loading CR2032 battery for fast replacement without losing zero, the Viridian MDS35 includes both a low-profile mount and a skeletonized absolute co-witness Picatinny riser mount for versatile staging out of the box.

Fitment Matrix: Fits standard MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny receiver rails using included low-profile or absolute co-witness riser mounts. Compatible with Aimpoint Micro footprint mounts.
- Verify host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically confirmed empty.
- Select preferred mount height (low-profile or co-witness riser) and secure to the optic housing using included screws, torquing to 12-15 in-lbs.
- Attach optic mount assembly onto upper receiver Picatinny rail, pushing forward against recoil lug.
- Torque rail crossbolt clamp screw to 20-25 in-lbs using a calibrated driver.
- Install CR2032 battery into side compartment, power on optic, and zero at 25 or 50 yards using precision windage and elevation turrets.
