The Vosteed Psyop 299 (A2233) is a masterfully refined mid-size folder designed in collaboration with Geoff Blauvelt of Tuff Knives. Bridging the gap between the original full-size Psyop and the "Mini," the Psyop 299 hits the EDC "sweet spot" with a 2.99-inch blade, making it legal in many restrictive jurisdictions while maintaining professional-grade utility. This model features a premium Crucible CPM S30VN stainless steel blade, finished in a non-reflective Black Stonewash. To maximize performance, Vosteed reduced the blade choil in this version, providing a longer, uninterrupted cutting edge that excels at slicing tasks compared to its larger siblings.
The handle is a blend of retro character and modern ergonomics, constructed with Black Norplex UltreX™ Micarta scales paired with an asymmetrical titanium bolster. This asymmetrical design not only adds visual balance but provides a unique indexing point for the hand.
