The Press Check, we think, is about as good as it currently gets from WE Knives. Designed by Allen Elishewitz, it's an impressive looking, feeling, and performing piece of top-notch engineering. We could talk all day about Allen and what he's meant and currently still means to the knife industry but we'll keep it simple. He's one of the few still and always innovating, never set on his laurels but consistently pushing the envelope to find the new best thing. We think the Press Check might be the best production knife of the year, combining a strong bolstered handle design with superior aesthetics and WE build quality for a knife that is hard to beat. The only concern may be the 3.15" blade length but let's put that to rest, once you have it in hand it feels closer to three-and-a-half inches than three inches and is more than enough to protect your life in a primary role.
