1. Perform a complete firearm safety check: drop the magazine, lock the bolt rearward, and visually inspect the chamber to verify zero live rounds are present.
2. Separate the upper and lower receivers by removing the takedown and pivot pins.
3. Invert the lower receiver and use a long hex/flathead driver to remove the factory grip screw and washer inside the stock pistol grip.
4. Carefully slide the old grip off the frame, making sure not to drop or deform the safety selector spring and detent located in the right rear wall of the lower receiver.
5. Align the safety detent and spring into the receiver hole, then slide the WOOX Vigilante walnut grip flush against the receiver tang.
6. Insert the provided mounting screw and washer through the base of the grip, tightening to 25–30 in-lbs while ensuring the safety detent spring compresses smoothly without twisting.
7. Perform function checks on the safety selector lever to confirm smooth rotation between SAFE and FIRE positions.
