Threaded in standard 1/2"-28 TPI, this heavy-duty muzzle device utilizes AAC's open-prong architecture featuring multi-length, non-symmetrical tines. *Armorer Bench Notes & Real-World Staging Guidance:
Fitment Matrix: Fits rifle barrels with standard 1/2"-28 TPI threads chambered in 5.56mm NATO, .223 Remington, or .224 Valkyrie. Note: This is a standalone flash hider model (non-silencer adapter). It does NOT feature fast-attach ratchet teeth for AAC 51T or 90T suppressors. Do not use crush washers when installing; torque directly to the barrel shoulder.
- Ensure the host firearm is verified completely clear, safe, and unloaded before starting installation.
- Clean barrel muzzle threads thoroughly with a wire brush and degreaser to remove carbon and anti-seize residue.
- Apply a drop of medium-strength threadlocker (or high-temp thread sealant) and thread the flash hider onto the barrel shoulder. Torque to 25–30 ft-lbs using a standard armorer wrench.
