Purpose-built to tuck weapon lights tight against the top Picatinny rail or handguard flats at 45-degree angles, the OSM-QS drastically reduces overall weapon profile, minimizes snag hazards, and optimizes thumb positioning for intuitive tailcap or remote pressure switch manipulation.
Precision CNC-machined in the USA from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, the mount replaces the factory Picatinny rail adapter on Scout-style lights. Featuring three lateral positioning mounting channels, the OSM-QS allows operators to shift the light body closer to or further away from top-mounted laser aiming modules (ATPIAL/PEQ-15, NGAL, DBAL) or front sight posts, achieving a seamless, custom-fit profile on crowded handguards.

Fitment Matrix: Fits Q LLC Q-Sert handguards (The Honey Badger, Sugar Weasel, Live Q Or Die series) and standard M-LOK handguard slots. Compatible with SureFire Scout Light (M300/M600/DF), Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1/2/HL-X, Modlite, and Arisaka 300/600 light bodies. (Note: When mounting to Q-Sert rails, use the included Q-Sert fasteners; when mounting to M-LOK rails, utilize standard M-LOK T-nuts).
- Perform a complete firearm safety check: drop the magazine, pull the charging handle rearward, lock the action open, and visually/physically inspect the chamber to verify zero live rounds are present.
- Unscrew and remove the factory Picatinny rail clamp from your Scout light body.
- Select one of the three lateral mounting position hole sets on the Arisaka OSM-QS to achieve the desired light proximity relative to your top rail accessories or front sight.
- Attach the light body to the OSM-QS mount using the included light body screws, applying threadlocker and torquing to 12 in-lbs.
- Align the appropriate Q-Sert or M-LOK fasteners into the handguard slots at your desired 45-degree angle position.
- Tighten the handguard fasteners to specification (15 in-lbs for M-LOK / Q-Sert specifications) and perform a dry-handling test to verify thumb access to the tailcap or tape switch.
