Fitment Matrix: Direct fitment for all standard Mil-Spec AR-15 / M4 and AR-10 / SR-25 pattern lower receivers. Standard 90-degree throw orientation.
- Ensure the host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
- Remove the pistol grip and grip screw carefully to avoid losing the safety selector detent spring and detent.
- Cock the hammer back into the locked engagement position, slide the existing safety selector lever out of the lower receiver housing.
- Insert the Geissele Posi-Snap selector barrel into the receiver, insert the included detent into the grip channel point-first, place the detent spring into the grip recess, and reinstall the pistol grip to proper torque specifications. Verify crisp "Safe" and "Fire" detent lockup before function testing with an empty chamber.
