The GG&G Inc. Benelli M4 Tactical Bolt Release Pad is an oversized, high-speed ergonomic upgrade designed specifically for the Benelli M4 12-gauge tactical shotgun platform. Precision-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a stainless steel mechanism, this assembly replaces the small, factory-installed bolt release button with a larger surface area component. This expanded pad profile provides positive tactile contact for rapid bolt closure during tactical reloads, high-stress stress drills, and emergency chamber clearings under adverse environmental conditions.
Featuring a durable MIL-S-13883 hardcoat anodized black finish, the tactical pad body resists abrasion, chemical exposure, and operational corrosion. Fitment Matrix: Engineered specifically for Benelli M4 / M1014 12-gauge shotguns. Not compatible with Benelli M1, M2, M3, or Super Black Eagle platforms.
- Perform a complete firearm safety check: clear the magazine tube, open the bolt, and visually and physically inspect the chamber to ensure the shotgun is completely unloaded.
- Punch out the trigger assembly retention pin and remove the lower trigger guard assembly from the receiver.
- Drift out the roll pin retaining the OEM shell latch assembly, taking care not to lose the factory shell latch spring.
- Remove the factory small-button shell latch and position the GG&G modified shell latch with the pre-installed tactical pad into the receiver recess.
- Align the spring and shell latch pivot hole, reinsert the factory roll pin, and seat it flush against the receiver wall.
- Reinstall the trigger guard assembly, reinsert the trigger retention pin, and manually cycle the action several times to verify positive bolt hold-open and smooth button release function.
