Fitment Matrix: Direct fit for Benelli M1 Super 90, Benelli M2 (Field and Tactical), and Benelli M3 Super 90 shotguns in 12 gauge and 20 gauge. Installation requires drifting out the trigger group/receiver retention roll pins and swapping the bolt latch assembly inside the receiver; armorer roll-pin punches and bench blocks are strongly recommended.
- Ensure the host shotgun is completely clear, magazine tube empty, chamber visually and physically verified clear, and safety engaged.
- Field strip the shotgun: remove the barrel, forend, bolt carrier group, and trigger housing assembly from the receiver.
- Using a proper-sized roll-pin punch and armorer's block, gently drive out the factory bolt release latch retaining pin from the receiver wall, capturing the small internal detent spring.
- Remove the factory small-button latch assembly, place the GG&G GGG-1030 assembly into the receiver channel, and ensure the internal detent spring is correctly positioned in its alignment recess.
- Reinstall the retaining pin until flush with the receiver wall, reassemble the trigger group and bolt carrier, and cycle dummy shells through the action to verify positive carrier latching, bolt release, and smooth shell feed-ramp presentation before live-fire staging.
