The Kimber 4200423 KDS9c Optic Plate Kit provides a precision-machined interface for mounting micro red dot optics utilizing the Docter/Noblex footprint directly onto Kimber KDS9c optic-ready slides. Designed to integrate cleanly with the handgun's factory slide cut, this adapter plate preserves sight line geometry while delivering a rigid, repeatable mounting platform capable of withstanding severe reciprocating slide forces.
This kit features an integrated dovetailed blackout rear sight notch positioned behind the optic pocket. This design allows operators to retain a non-distracting, glare-resistant backup iron sight reference without cluttering the sight picture. The rear sight retains windage adjustability within the dovetail slot for fine-tuning zero.
