Precision CNC-machined in the USA from lightweight 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the MI-SWRDM-RMR features an integrated Trijicon RMR mounting pattern with precision-milled recoil posts. This allows direct mounting of popular optics (including the Trijicon RMR, SRO, RMR HD, RCR, and Holosun 407C/507C/508T series) without intermediate plates or added height. - Perform a complete firearm safety check: open the cylinder, visually and physically verify all chambers are clear of live ammunition.
- Unscrew and remove the factory rear iron sight assembly from the revolver top strap using an appropriate precision screwdriver.
- Clean and degrease the exposed top strap mounting holes and underside of the Midwest mount using isopropyl alcohol.
- Position the MI-SWRDM-RMR plate onto the top strap, aligning the mounting countersinks with the factory threaded holes.
- Apply a small drop of medium-strength blue Threadlocker (Loctite 242) to the included frame mounting screws and torque to 12–15 in-lbs.
