Armorer Bench Notes & Real-World Staging Guidance:
Fitment Matrix: Direct fitment for any aftermarket or factory mounting base using the Aimpoint Micro T1/T2 footprint. Mounts cleanly to MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails using included or third-party riser mounts.

1. Perform a complete firearm safety check: drop the magazine, lock the bolt or action rearward, and visually inspect the chamber to verify zero live rounds are present.
2. Clean the underside of the Osight R housing and the mounting surface of your chosen T1/T2 riser mount to remove machine oil and debris.
3. Align the optic base with the riser mount index posts and install the 4 base mounting screws.
4. Apply a light drop of medium-strength threadlocker (Blue Loctite 242) to each mounting screw and torque to 12–15 in-lbs in a cross-pattern.
5. Attach the riser assembly to your upper receiver or handguard Picatinny rail, pushing forward toward the muzzle while tightening the rail clamp bolt to 25–30 in-lbs.
6. Power on the optic, toggle through the Multi-Reticle options to select your preferred sight picture, and zero at 25 or 50 yards using 0.5 MOA tactile windage and elevation adjustments.
