Product Description

The Sig Sauer ROMEO-X COMPACT Green Dot brings high-visibility targeting performance down to micro-compact everyday carry handguns. Directly inspired by Sig Sauer’s military contract ROMEO-M17 optic, this compact reflex sight is housed in a rugged CNC-machined 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum body. Designed around the industry-standard Shield RMS-c footprint, it bolts directly onto micro-compact slides including the Sig P365 series, Springfield Hellcat, and optic-ready GLOCK Slimline models without requiring adapter plates or custom slide work.

Featuring a high-efficiency 520nm green LED emitter, the ROMEO-X COMPACT projects a crisp 3 MOA green dot reticle. Green reticles are naturally processed more efficiently by the human eye than red dots, offering faster target acquisition in bright sunlight while reducing visual haloing for shooters with astigmatism. Controlled via low-profile side buttons, the optic offers 15 illumination settings (12 daylight and 3 night-vision compatible). An ultra-low deck height enables complete mechanical co-witnessing with standard-height factory iron sights, eliminating the need for suppressor-height iron sights.

Power efficiency is managed by Sig Sauer’s MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination) system, which conserves energy by automatically turning off the dot when stationary and instantly re-energizing the emitter upon draw or movement. Paired with a convenient side-loading CR1632 battery tray, users can complete routine battery swaps without removing the sight from the slide or disturbing their zero. Assembled in the USA, the ROMEO-X COMPACT Green Dot provides professional-grade optical performance for concealed carry defense.

Fitment Matrix: Direct mount fitment for micro-compact Shield RMS-c / Sig Sauer P365 slide footprints (including Sig P365, P365X, P365XL, P365-XMACRO, Springfield Hellcat, and GLOCK 43X/48 MOS). *Not compatible with full-size DeltaPoint Pro/PRO Cut footprints.*

Staging & Installation Steps:

Unload firearm, verify clear, and remove the slide; thoroughly clean and degrease the optic mounting pocket and screw holes.

Set the ROMEO-X COMPACT squarely into the slide cut over the indexing recoil posts.

Apply a small drop of blue medium-strength threadlocker to the provided correct-length mounting screws.

Torque the mounting screws using a calibrated torque tool to exactly 15 in-lbs.

Insert the CR1632 battery into the side tray with the positive (+) side facing out, then confirm MOTAC functionality by setting down and lifting the slide.
