- Verify host Sig MPX firearm is completely clear, safety engaged, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically confirmed empty.
- Use the integrated front tension wheel to relieve internal spring force while hand-loading 9x19mm rounds into the feed tower.
- Fill the drum to its 30-round capacity, verifying each casing is seated flat against the rear wall of the drum body.
- Insert the loaded DRM-A36 drum straight up into the MPX magwell until the magazine catch engages with a firm, audible click.
- Cycle the charging handle to chamber the initial round and perform a visual lockup check prior to live-fire staging.
