The Rosco Manufacturing Bloodline 14.5" M4 Barrel (BL-145-GVT-556-7-M) represents the next evolutionary step for the M4 platform, specifically optimized for modern duty and patrol carbine requirements. Unlike traditional M4 barrels that utilize a carbine-length gas system, this model is engineered with a mid-length gas system. This longer gas curve results in managed dwell times and a significantly smoother recoil impulse, reducing wear on internal components and providing a more controllable shooting experience during rapid fire.
Machined in-house from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel, this barrel features a balanced Government/M4 profile and a 1:7 twist rate that is ideal for stabilizing heavier 62gr to 77gr duty projectiles. The bore and exterior are finished with a Black Nitride (Salt Bath Nitride) treatment, which offers superior corrosion resistance and surface hardness compared to traditional chrome lining. With an 11-degree target crown for enhanced accuracy and precision-machined M4 feed ramps, the Bloodline series is built to outperform and outlast the competition in hard-use environments.
