Fitment Matrix: Fits any standard Mil-Spec AR-15 / M4 lower receiver assembly. (Note: NFA NFA/BATFE rules apply if mounted to a non-SBR lower receiver without pinning and welding a suitable muzzle device to achieve 16" overall length).
- Perform a complete firearm safety check on your lower receiver prior to mating the upper assembly.
- Install a quality Mil-Spec or enhanced Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) and charging handle into the upper receiver channel.
- Align the front pivot pin and rear takedown pin holes of the M4-L89 upper with your lower receiver pins.
- Push both takedown pins completely through to lock the upper and lower receiver assemblies together.
- If installing a muzzle device, torque to 20–30 ft-lbs using rocksett on the barrel threads; pin and weld if required for non-NFA 16" OAL compliance.
