The Shield Arms G19-ME-5-BLK is a high-performance, billet aluminum magazine extension designed to increase ammunition capacity and improve reload grip on factory Glock 19 (9mm) and Glock 23 (.40 S&W) magazines. Engineered to replace standard factory OEM baseplates, this extension adds +5 rounds of 9mm capacity to a Glock 19 magazine or +4 rounds of .40 S&W capacity to a Glock 23 magazine.

Precision CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in a durable Type II anodized black coating, the G19-ME-5-BLK features an innovative easy-access floorplate design. This setup allows armorers and shooters to quickly service the spring and follower for field cleaning without needing to remove the entire extension housing from the magazine body. Outer index serrations provide extra purchase when stripping magazines from mag pouches under high-stress reload conditions.

1. Verify host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically confirmed empty.
2. Depress internal locking insert pin on the factory magazine baseplate and slide the OEM plate off the magazine rails.
3. Remove factory magazine spring and retain original follower.
4. Install the included +10% power spring onto the factory follower and insert into the magazine body.
5. Slide the Shield Arms extension onto the magazine body bottom rails until securely locked into place, verifying the easy-access floorplate functions cleanly.
