Designed to dramatically improve reliability, smooth out cyclic operation, and reduce felt recoil impulse in AR-15 and AR-10/SR-25 rifles, this kit replaces standard carbine buffer setups with a longer-stroke internal operating system.
At the heart of the A5KIT is the SOLGW Loyal 9 A5 intermediate length receiver extension, precision-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a Mil-Spec Type III hardcoat anodized black finish and a low-friction dry-film lubricated interior. Paired with a heavy-duty A5-length buffer and a SprinCo Green chrome-silicon rifle-length buffer spring, this system delays bolt carrier unlocking, increases internal dwell time, and provides consistent forward energy to strip rounds reliably from high-capacity magazines.

Fitment Matrix: Direct fit for MIL-SPEC AR-15 and AR-10 / SR-25 lower receiver buffer threads (1-3/16"-16 UN). Accepts all standard MIL-SPEC diameter collapsible carbine stocks.
- Verify host lower receiver is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically confirmed empty.
- Thread the included castle nut and QD endplate onto the A5 buffer tube with the smooth faces oriented toward the receiver body.
- Apply a thin coating of aerosol-grade moly grease (MIL-PRF-2105) to receiver threads, then thread the extension into the lower receiver until it captures the buffer retainer pin and spring.
- Align the receiver extension straight, press the QD endplate into the receiver indexing notch, and hand-tighten the castle nut.
- Torque castle nut to 38-40 ft-lbs using a dedicated armorer wrench, stake the endplate firmly into the castle nut notches, insert the SprinCo Green spring and A5 buffer, and verify smooth manual cycling.
