CRITICAL: This component will NOT fit the CZ Scorpion 3+ (Plus) family, which utilizes an AR-15 push-button style release system rather than the EVO 3 trigger-guard paddle. Installation requires re-use of the factory CZ Scorpion pivot roll pin and torsion spring. Maintain control of the factory spring during pin removal to prevent projectile loss.
- Ensure the host CZ Scorpion EVO 3 is completely cleared, magazine removed, bolt locked rearward, and the chamber visually and physically confirmed empty.
- Support the trigger guard assembly on an armorer block and carefully drive out the factory magazine release pivot roll pin from right to left using a 3mm (or 1/8") roll pin punch and a nylon armorer mallet.
- Slowly withdraw the punch while capturing the factory torsion spring and remove the factory magazine release paddle from the trigger housing pocket.
- Clean and inspect the trigger housing pivot recess, then position the factory torsion spring inside the Strike Extended Mag Release cavity in the proper factory orientation.
- Align the Strike EMR inside the trigger guard ears, insert the punch as a temporary slave pin to capture the spring coils, drive the factory roll pin into position until centered and flush on both sides, and verify smooth, positive spring return with an empty magazine.
