- Apply a drop of high-temp thread locker (such as Rocksett or thread sealant) to clean 5/8"-24 muzzle threads if permanent installation is desired.
- Thread the Warden clockwise onto the barrel by hand until hand-tight against the barrel shoulder; torque to 20–30 ft-lbs using an open-end wrench on the wrench flats.
