Fitment Matrix: Fits barrel muzzles threaded in 5/8"-24 TPI with a bore clearance up to .30 caliber / 7.62mm (including .308 Win, 7.62x51mm, 300 Blackout, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 Grendel, .243 Win).
- Perform a complete firearm safety check: drop the magazine, lock the bolt rearward, and visually inspect the chamber to verify zero live rounds are present.
- Clean factory oil, thread sealant, or carbon residue from the 5/8"-24 barrel muzzle threads.
- Slide the included crush washer onto the barrel threads with the cup/flared side facing rearward toward the shoulder of the barrel.
- Thread the TacFire MZ10273B muzzle brake onto the barrel by hand until it makes contact with the crush washer.
- Use an armorer wrench or crescent wrench to clock the muzzle brake until the top tuning port holes are indexed vertically at the 12 o'clock position (180° to 360° of rotation).
