*Armorer Bench Notes & Technical Maintenance Guidance: This slide is shipped stripped and requires a standard Glock firing pin channel liner to be pressed into place before installing your slide completion kit parts. When mounting your red dot optic, ensure the mounting screws are sized at 6-32 x 7/16" and torque them precisely to 10–12 in-lbs; applying an excess of torque can warp the housing or pinch internal channels. A single drop of medium-strength blue thread-locking compound is highly recommended on the optic screws. For iron sight installation, only use an exterior slide-clamping rear sight pusher (such as Wheeler or Real Avid); generic shoe-style pushers that put pressure on the lower slide rails can pinch or permanently warp the rail engagement channels.
