TOPS Knives ALRT XL-05 (Anywhere Last Resort Tool) – 1095 Carbon Steel
The TOPS Knives ALRT XL-05 (ALRT-XL05) is the upsized, "extra-large" version of the original Anywhere Last Resort Tool, providing a more substantial grip and increased cutting surface while remaining small enough for discreet carry. Designed as a "last ditch" utility and defensive tool, the ALRT XL is built from 3/16" thick 1095 high-carbon steel, giving it incredible structural strength for its size. The blade features a Black Traction Coating to prevent rust and eliminate glare, making it a rugged companion for survival kits, neck carry, or keychain attachment.
What defines the XL-05 is its enhanced ergonomics; the handle is skeletonized to save weight but features a large finger hole and aggressive jimping on both the spine and the underside. This allows for a rock-solid, "locked-in" grip that is difficult to dislodge, even in slippery conditions. Despite its diminutive size, the 2.75" blade is surprisingly capable of heavy-duty tasks. It comes paired with a custom-molded Kydex sheath and a ball chain, allowing it to be worn as a neck knife or easily lashed to a pack or belt.
