The Unity Tactical FAST 2.26" Flip-To-Center (FTC) Mount for Holosun HM3X & HM3XT in Flat Dark Earth (MPN: FST-HFF) is a revolutionary optic magnification mounting system engineered to eliminate sight obstruction, balance disruption, and snag hazards associated w/ traditional side-flipping magnifier mounts. Precision CNC-machined in the USA from 7075-T6 billet aluminum and finished in Type III hardcoat anodized Flat Dark Earth (FDE), the FST-HFF provides an elevated 2.26" optical centerline height. This elevated sightline promotes a heads-up posture, facilitating faster target acquisition, improved spinal ergonomics, and seamless clearance w/ night vision goggles (NVGs), gas masks, and tactical ear protection during dynamic shooting schedules.
Featuring an intuitive force-to-overcome motion, the FTC mechanism allows operators to rapidly engage or stow their Holosun magnifier w/ a single fluid pull or push—eliminating complex levers, buttons, or spring-loaded latches. The mount comes equipped w/ a standard two-bolt rail clamp and is fully compatible w/ Unity's FAST QD Lever for rapid toolless detachment.
Armorer Bench Notes & Real-World Staging Guidance:
Fitment Matrix: Directly mounts Holosun HM3X and HM3XT magnifiers. Establishes a 2.26" optical centerline when paired w/ primary optics mounted on Unity FAST risers or micro mounts. (Note: Will NOT align w/ standard lower-1/3rd [1.57"] or absolute co-witness [1.42"] primary red dot mounts without a matching 2.26" optic riser).
- Perform a complete firearm safety check: drop the magazine, retract the charging handle, and visually/physically inspect the chamber to verify zero live rounds are present.
- Remove the factory side-flip base from your Holosun HM3X or HM3XT magnifier body.
- Align the magnifier housing w/ the interface plate of the Unity FAST FTC FST-HFF mount.
- Apply medium-strength threadlocker (Loctite 242) to the mounting screws and torque to 15 in-lbs using an inch-pound torque wrench.
- Attach the FAST FTC mount to your upper receiver's MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail directly behind your primary red dot optic.
- Torque the rail clamp cross-bolts to 35 in-lbs (or adjust the tension nut if utilizing an optional FAST QD Lever), then cycle the FTC mechanism to verify smooth lockup and zero-play staging.
