The Unity Tactical FAST™ MRO Mount in Anodized Black (MPN: FST-MROB) is a high-rise optic mounting platform engineered specifically for the Trijicon MRO series of micro red dot sights. Built to deliver a taller 2.26” optical centerline height, the FAST Mount provides modern tactical operators, law enforcement officers, and armed citizens with faster sight acquisition, improved situational awareness, and a natural heads-up shooting posture when operating with night vision goggles (NVG), protective masks, plate carriers, and heavy tactical gear.
Precision CNC-machined in the USA from ultra-strong 7075-T6 billet aluminum, the FST-MROB features a Type III hardcoat anodized black finish for maximum wear and corrosion resistance. A hallmark of the Unity FAST series is its integrated fully adjustable back-up iron sight (BUIS). The built-in rear aperture sight pairs seamlessly with standard AR-15 front sight posts or rail-mounted front sights, saving valuable rail space and ensuring an instantly accessible backup sighting solution if the primary optic fails or is obstructed.
Designed to clamp securely onto any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail using a heavy-duty two-screw rail clamp, the FAST MRO Mount can also be upgraded with the optional Unity FAST™ Lever nut system for quick-detach (QD) functionality. Fitment Matrix: Fits Trijicon MRO and MRO HD red dot optics exclusively. Clamps securely to all MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny top rails. (Note: Accepts Unity FAST QD Lever conversion kit for tool-free quick detachment).
- Perform a complete firearm safety check: drop the magazine, lock the action open, and visually/physically inspect the chamber to verify zero live rounds are present.
- Align the Trijicon MRO optic footprint onto the top platform of the Unity FAST MRO Mount housing.
- Apply blue Threadlocker (Loctite 242) to the optic mounting screws and torque to manufacturer-recommended 12–15 in-lbs using an inch-pound torque driver.
- Place the assembled FAST mount onto the desired forward Picatinny receiver slot for optimal eye relief and situational awareness.
- Tighten the mount clamp rail screws evenly to 35 in-lbs to guarantee a rock-solid, zero-holding rail interface.
- Verify sight picture height (2.26" centerline) and adjust the integrated BUIS rear aperture windage/elevation if co-witnessing or setting up secondary iron sights.
