1. Ensure the host upper and lower receivers are completely unloaded, verified clear, and clean before component installation.
2. Install lower controls (bolt catch, pivot/takedown pins, safety selector, and magazine catch assembly) using proper armorer roll pin punches to protect the NiB-X® finish.
3. Assemble the upper receiver ejection port cover door and forward assist assembly using the included high-temp springs and retention roll pins. Perform a complete mechanical function check prior to live fire.
