Fitment Matrix: Direct drop-in fitment for all standard mil-spec AR-15, M4, and M16 bolt carrier groups chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, .223 Remington, .300 AAC Blackout, .350 Legend, 6.5 Grendel, and 6.8 SPC. Compatible with both semi-automatic and full-automatic carrier profiles. Will NOT fit AR-10, LR-308, or SR-25 large-frame bolt carrier groups. Will NOT fit sub-caliber .22 LR conversion bolts or 9mm blowback bolts lacking standard AR-15 firing pin geometry.
- Ensure the host rifle is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
- Separate the upper and lower receivers, then pull the charging handle rearward to remove the bolt carrier group (BCG).
- Pull out the firing pin retaining pin from the left side of the bolt carrier, and slide the old firing pin out from the rear of the bolt.
- Insert the WMD Guns NiB-X firing pin into the bolt carrier tail until fully seated forward against the bolt, then reinsert the firing pin retaining pin to secure it in place before function testing.
