Ideal for custom builds where an aftermarket trigger (Geissele, Hiperfire, Timney, CMC) and custom pistol grip (Magpul, BCM, B5) are selected separately. (Note: Does NOT include a trigger, hammer, disconnector, trigger/hammer springs, trigger/hammer pins, pistol grip, or pistol grip screw/washer).
- Perform a complete firearm safety check on your workspace, ensuring zero live ammunition is present in the staging area.
- Install the front pivot pin using the pivot detent, spring, and a specialized clevis tool to compress the detent spring into the lower receiver channel.
- Install the bolt catch, spring, plunger, and secure with the included bolt catch roll pin using a roll pin punch.
- Assemble the magazine catch bar, spring, and magazine release button into the right-side magwell pocket, threading until flush with the catch shaft.
- Install the trigger guard assembly and drive the rear roll pin through the lower receiver ears.
- Insert your chosen safety selector, buffer retainer assembly, and complete the installation of the takedown pin, detents, springs, and your preferred trigger and pistol grip. Perform a dry-function test to verify complete mechanical operation.
