The Franklin Armory G-S173 (17-50000-BLK) is a revolutionary performance upgrade that brings the legendary Binary Firing System® (BFS™) to the striker-fired market. Specifically engineered for the Glock 17 Gen3, this kit is not just a trigger—it is a complete system that includes a replacement slide and trigger assembly. This dual-component approach allows the G-S173 to offer a feature never before seen on a Glock: a physical mode selector paddle on the slide that lets the shooter toggle between standard Semiautomatic and Binary® modes.
In Binary® mode, the firearm discharges one round on the pull of the trigger and a second round upon the release, significantly reducing split times and allowing for incredibly tight, rapid-fire groupings. Safety remains paramount; the release round can be easily cancelled by moving the selector back to "Semi" before releasing the trigger. The slide itself is a major upgrade, featuring front and rear tritium night sights, aggressive tactile serrations, and an optics-ready cut (adapter plates sold separately). An integrated mode indicator on the backplate provides a visual and tactile way to confirm your firing mode without breaking your cheek weld or losing focus on the target.
