The Sons of Liberty Gun Works (SOLGW) Liberty Ambi Charging Handle (LCH-5.56) is a heavy-duty, fully ambidextrous charging handle engineered specifically for hard-use AR-15, M4, and 5.56 NATO rifle platforms. Precision-machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum and treated with a Type III Class 2 Hardcoat Anodized black finish, the Liberty Charging Handle is built to withstand high-stress operational environments, rapid mortar clearing procedures, and sustained suppressed firing schedules without bending or fracturing.

Featuring dual oversized, curved latches with aggressive rear serrations, the LCH-5.56 enables fluid, positive weapon manipulation from either side of the receiver, whether using palm-blade charges, support-hand finger index pulls, or gloved operations. Perform a complete safety clearance: drop the magazine, lock the bolt to the rear, and visually and physically inspect the chamber to verify the firearm is completely unloaded.

Allow the bolt carrier group to move forward gently, then push in the rear takedown pin and pivot the upper receiver away from the lower receiver.

Pull the factory charging handle rearward until the alignment lugs meet the keyway cutouts in the upper receiver track, then lift up and pull to remove both the charging handle and bolt carrier group.

Apply a thin layer of high-grade weapons grease or oil along the top stem friction points, side guide rails, and roll-pin pivot points of the SOLGW Liberty Charging Handle.
