The Unity Tactical FAST 2.26" AEMS Optic Mount in Flat Dark Earth (MPN: FST-AEMF) is a purpose-built riser engineered specifically for the Holosun® AEMS® (Advanced Enclosed Micro Sight) optics family. Built to elevate the red dot to Unity's proven 2.26" optical centerline height, this mount facilitates rapid sight acquisition while promoting an upright "heads-up" posture for improved neck and spinal ergonomics during dynamic tactical shooting schedules.
Precision CNC-machined in the USA from lightweight, high-strength 7075-T6 billet aluminum, the FST-AEMF features a Type III hardcoat anodized Flat Dark Earth (FDE) ceramic finish for maximum wear and chemical resistance. The elevated 2.26" height provides necessary clearance when operating w/ night vision goggles (NVGs), protective gas masks, audio headsets, and heavy chest rig setups. It seamlessly integrates w/ Unity's FAST Flip-To-Center (FTC) magnifier mounts for a unified, streamlined optic setup.
Equipped w/ a standard low-profile two-cross-bolt Picatinny rail clamp assembly, the Unity Tactical FAST AEMS Mount provides positive clamping force on standard MIL-STD-1913 rails. It is also fully compatible w/ the optional FAST QD (Quick Detach) Lever for operators requiring toolless, rapid-removal capabilities on duty or personal defense rifles.
Armorer Bench Notes & Real-World Staging Guidance:
Fitment Matrix: Fits Holosun AEMS, AEMS Core, AEMS-CORE-X2, and AEMS-PRO-X2 optics. Establishes a 2.26" optical centerline from the top of the MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail. (Note: Will NOT align with standard lower-1/3rd [1.57"] or absolute co-witness [1.42"] magnifiers unless paired w/ a matching 2.26" FAST FTC magnifier mount).
- Perform a complete firearm safety check: drop the magazine, retract the charging handle, and visually/physically inspect the chamber to verify zero live rounds are present.
- Unscrew and remove the factory low or lower-1/3rd mount from your Holosun AEMS optic body.
- Clean and degrease the underside mounting interface and threaded holes of the AEMS optic using isopropyl alcohol.
- Align the Holosun AEMS optic onto the top interface of the Unity FAST FST-AEMF mount.
- Apply medium-strength threadlocker (Loctite 242 or VC-3) to the optic mounting screws and torque to 12–15 in-lbs using a calibrated torque driver.
- Attach the FAST mount to your upper receiver's top Picatinny rail, tightening the cross-bolts to 35 in-lbs (or adjust tension on the optional FAST QD lever), and confirm zero shift play before live firing.
