The Unity Tactical FAST™ Optic Riser (FST-ORB) in Black is a specialized optic mounting platform engineered to elevate lower 1/3 co-witness red dot optics and sights to a 2.26-inch optical centerline. Designed for modern tactical carbine operations, this raised height facilitates rapid visual acquisition, natural heads-up shooting posture, and unobstructed passive aiming when operating with night vision goggles (NVGs), gas masks, plate carriers, or ear protection headsets.
Precision CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the FAST™ Optic Riser provides a rigid, ultra-lightweight mounting surface with higher fatigue and tensile strength than standard 6061 aluminum mounts. It features a continuous top MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail section designed to accept standard Picatinny-mounted red dot sights, including the EOTech EXPS series, Leupold LCO, Vortex Razor AMG UH-1, and other optics using factory lower 1/3 QD mounts.
Finished in Type III Class 2 hardcoat anodizing in Black, the FST-ORB delivers superior resistance to field abrasion, chemical solvents, and harsh environmental exposure. The riser attaches directly to the host receiver's top Picatinny rail using a standard two-bolt rail clamp, but can also be upgraded with the optional Unity FAST™ Lever (sold separately) for quick-detach capability.

Fitment Matrix: Mounts to standard MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny receiver rails. Designed specifically for direct-rail optics with factory lower 1/3 co-witness mounts to raise their optical axis to a 2.26" centerline. (Absolute co-witness optics will sit at approximately 2.05" optical centerline when mounted to this riser).
- Thoroughly clean and degrease the top Picatinny rail slots on the upper receiver.
- Place the Unity FAST™ Optic Riser onto the desired rail section, pushing the riser forward toward the muzzle to seat the integrated recoil lug against the forward face of the rail cross-slot.
- Tighten the two cross-bolts evenly, applying medium-strength threadlocker (Blue 242/243) to the clamp screws.
- Torque the rail clamp screws to factory specification (35 in-lbs). Mount your optic onto the riser top rail and torque the optic's mounting hardware to manufacturer specification.
